A system floor, also known as a construction floor or installation floor, is a raised floor with a steel support structure in a 600 × 600 mm or 600 × 1200 mm grid. The floor panels rest on pedestals and steel profiles, which distributes weight effectively and makes the floor suitable for higher loads.

On a computer floor the panels rest directly on pedestals. On a system floor they rest on a steel substructure of pedestals and profiles, in a 600x600 mm or 600x1200 mm grid. This spreads the load better, so the floor can carry heavier installations.
Our system floors have a point load of up to 20 kN per point and a breaking load of 8 to 35 kN, depending on panel type and grid. We calculate the load capacity based on the installations that will be placed on the floor.
System floors are used where load capacity and stability matter, such as datacenters, control stations, technical rooms, industry, water treatment plants and drilling platforms.
We supply panels with a fire classification from F30 (REI30) to F60 (REI60), matched to the requirements of your building. An anti-static (ESD) version is also available.
