Application

System Floors For Control Stations

A control station or switching station brings together heavy switchgear cabinets, control cabinets and thick cable bundles. The cables often enter the cabinets from below. A raised floor makes this possible and keeps the room well organised and safe.

Anomalie supplies and installs system floors with a steel support structure that spreads the weight of the cabinets effectively. We make cut-outs to measure for each cabinet, so cables enter neatly and are protected. The cabinets themselves stand on custom steel frames, which we make and install.

If a cabinet is added later or the layout changes, we modify the floor while the station stays operational.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about system floors for control stations

Why install a raised floor in a control station?

A raised floor allows bottom cable entry, keeps cables protected and well organised, and provides access at all times for maintenance and extensions.

Can a system floor carry heavy switchgear cabinets?

Yes. A system floor has a steel support structure that spreads the weight effectively. We calculate the load capacity on the basis of the cabinets and installations that will be placed on the floor.

Can cut-outs be made to measure for each cabinet?

Yes. We make the cut-outs to fit the cable entry of each cabinet exactly, and adapt them later if the layout changes.

Can the floor be modified while the station is in operation?

Yes. We work in phases and in consultation with you, so the station stays operational. Read more about repairs and modifications.
