A raised floor is a modular floor placed on adjustable pedestals above the existing subfloor. This creates an accessible space beneath the floor for cables, electrical wiring, cooling and air handling. The floor is primarily used in datacenters, server rooms, offices and technical spaces where flexibility and accessibility are important.
A computer floor is a raised floor where loose panels are placed directly on adjustable pedestals. The space below the floor is primarily used for data cabling, electrical wiring, lightning protection and water pipes in offices, utility buildings, cleanrooms and datacenters.
A system floor or installation floor is a heavier raised floor construction. Here the panels rest not only on pedestals but on a steel support structure with uprights and steel profiles/beams. This distributes weight more effectively and allows the floor to carry much higher loads, such as heavy equipment, UPS systems, air conditioning units or technical installations.
System floors are used in offices, datacenters, control rooms, hospitals, school buildings and commercial spaces. They allow electrical, data, cooling and air handling to be routed below the floor and easily adjusted during refurbishment. Acoustic performance and a flat, clean finish are also important advantages.
Yes. Anomalie specialises in repairs and modifications to existing floor systems — including in environments where operations must continue. This includes replacing damaged panels, adapting the floor for new cable routing or cooling, correcting height differences and improving load capacity. We assess the situation on site and provide a tailored solution.
Anomalie carries out most work in the Netherlands, but is also regularly active abroad. We frequently work in Belgium and Germany and have also completed projects in other countries, including Scandinavia and the Middle East.
